Our Work Beyond BCU

We are really proud of the work that is done by academic staff in the Arts, Design and Media Faculty, that has an impact outside the University. We want to share some of these projects with you.

Our academic staff work with a large number of different groups, including communities, charities, museums, cultural organisations, educational establishments and professional companies. The idea is to share expertise and exchange knowledge from the academics to organisations and vice versa, for the benefit of everyone. This work can take many forms, from research projects to collaborations in arts and media practice.

Our ethos is around working collaboratively. In addition to benefitting the external groups and building knowledge both inside and outside the University, these projects frequently benefit students, either through direct involvement or through the research informing our teaching.
