Centre for Contemporary Visual Arts Asia

Generating new artistic understandings

Granted our established track record of intercultural exchange, we are relaunching from the Centre for Chinese Visual Art to Centre for Contemporary Visual Arts Asia, whilst maintaining primary roots in China. Furthering its transcultural dialogues by questioning the existing histories of contemporary arts, CCVA Asia fosters innovative ways of thinking and modes of knowledge in the globalised art world.

CCVA Asia aims to generate new understandings and perspectives of Asian contemporary arts, design, media and culture through interdisciplinary practices and theoretical studies. With extensive regional to international partnerships, CCVA Asia brings together artists, designers, curators and researchers to share expertise, exchange and innovate.
