An Offer Holder Day is more in-depth than an Open Day and gives you a more tailored experience. You'll find out more about your course and hear about the student experience through taster sessions and opportunities to meet academic staff and current students. You will also have an opportunity to view our accommodation and chat to our support services.
If you have already been to an Open Day, this is your chance to explore your course and subject area in more detail and if not, you'll get an in-depth introduction to studying here.
You are welcome to bring one guest with you to an Offer Holder Day – and we provide a special programme of activities for parents and carers (outlined in the schedule below). We know that parents and carers have lots of questions and concerns about what university life is like, so we have provided dedicated time for them to get the information they need.

Understanding a Brand
For this session, you will first be introduced to the course and the teaching team. Following this, in groups and together with the teaching team, we will discuss your interests and favourite brands. This will be a fun, interactive session helping to identify what makes a brand interesting and fun through lecturer-led discussions and brainstorming ideas. Collectively, we will talk over why we like our chosen brands, as well as start to visualise, through mood boards, what these brands feel like.
Understanding an Audience
For the second session of your day, we will start to look at audiences. Understanding an audience is essential to delivering our best work. In this session, in groups and together with the teaching team, we will talk about how brands speak to their audiences. Through an interactive group activity we will see how, with very little information, we build a picture of an audience.
Where you might be in a year
During this session, you will find out more about the course and see examples of projects completed by first years. These examples will provide a glimpse of what you could be doing in a year's time!
