Our Partnerships
Rooted in Birmingham
Our home city has so much to offer, and we continue to partner with organisations both locally and nationally who contribute to the economic, cultural and social growth of Birmingham and the West Midlands.
These partnerships enrich our student's experience, through real-world application of studies. Through the skills, expertise and experience of our students and staff, BCU also makes a true difference to our partners and the communities they serve.
Edgbaston and Warwickshire County Cricket Club Partnership
We’re deeply proud to have a longstanding partnership with Edgbaston and Warwickshire County Cricket Club. From sports therapy and strength and conditioning to photography and marketing, our students have contributed significantly to the work of the club.
IKON Gallery Partnership
Our collaboration with Ikon Gallery is transforming creative education, developing artistic talent and expanding public access to the arts across the West Midlands and beyond. The partnership enables the gallery to open on Tuesdays, when visitors can enjoy an additional day of free entry to Ikon’s exhibitions.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens Partnership
We are working together with Birmingham Botanical Gardens to engage with unique plant resources for interdisciplinary research and student projects, exploring the role of plants in addressing global challenges, from health and sustainability to urban greening and innovation.
Our staff and students have free and unlimited access to Birmingham Botanical Gardens, supporting their physical and mental health through the restorative power of nature.
Birmingham Knowledge Quarter Partnership
We are proud to be a partner of the Birmingham Knowledge Quarter (B-KQ), a collaboration of leading institutions and organisations working together to drive innovation, research and inclusive growth in the heart of the city. Through our partnership with B-KQ, BCU contributes its strengths in education, research, creativity and industry engagement to support economic development, enhance skills and create opportunities for students, graduates and local communities.
