The annual Birmingham City University Learning and Teaching Futures Conference is organised by the Digital Academic Practice Team in EDS.

This year’s event is scheduled for 9am-4pm on Thursday 7 July 2022 in The Curzon Building (Cardigan St, Birmingham, B4 7BD)

Each year at our Learning and Teaching Futures Conference the university comes together to reflect, share and learn from innovative practice from across the faculties and professional services. We welcome presentations from teaching and research staff, professional services, postgraduates, and faculty at all levels (especially those new to conference presentation) to share ideas, projects and workshops.

This year we are focusing on BCU as a community and the ways in which our diversity contributes to the success of all our students and staff.

The conference provides a platform for projects and ideas that are shaping our university that works andits community as well as embracing the benefits of a diverse institution. We believe that sharing practice and reflection are the cornerstone of educational development and this conference creates a forum to do this.
