Student success coaching for students who are repeating year one

Our Student Success Coaches are here to help you explore your individual strengths and challenges so you can achieve your academic goals. We work with you on a 1:1 basis to improve your study strategies, your time management and organisational skills and other skills that lead directly to academic success and deeper learning.

What we do:
  • Help you set an academic plan to achieve your goals
  • Encourage you to reflect on your learning
  • Support you to develop confidence in your abilities
  • Encourage you to take ownership of your learning
  • Assist you to improve your wellbeing

  • Goal setting
  • Time management
  • Study skills
  • Reading and note taking
  • Campus resources
  • Exam and revision techniques
  • Motivation
We expect that you:
  • Commit to attending meetings
  • Keep an open mind to change
  • Are honest about your progress
  • Reflect on your academic work
  • Be responsible for your learning
  • Respond to emails and other communications promptly
