Nana Yaa’s research addresses practical pathways to support human-centred technology adoption and use in digitally enabled AEC processes. Her work further advances digital inclusivity with implications for information integrity, digital change and operational risk management and strategies, industry-specific digital technology requirements, physical and psycho-emotional safety.
She is available for research-informed commentary and engagement with aligned parties in media, policymaking, industry, academia, professional bodies, interest groups and think-tanks.
Nana’s interdisciplinary expertise bridges architecture, project management, digital construction, and digital inclusivity, and safety. This has positioned her to provide valuable insights into aligning technological innovation with workforce development in the UK construction industry.
On the strength of these intersections, she has previously collaborated as a panellist at Digital Construction Week (DCW) on two stages:
- People and Change stage collaborating with Procore Technologies and Deloitteon Navigating Change: Practical Strategies for UK Construction.
- Inspire stage collaborating with Autodesk Construction Cloud (now Autodesk Forma) and World Skills on Building Tomorrow: Bridging the Gap between Technology and Talent in Construction.
She subsequently worked with Procore Technologies, Get Construction Talking and The B1M as a panellist and Workshop Facilitator at the 2025 Mental Health in Construction Summit in London.
She is open to consultancy and strategic funding collaborations with industry partners and allied groups to explore opportunities aligned with research interests in socio-technical information integrity assurance, digital inclusion in construction, human-centred technology use requirements, digital skills and capability development.
