Danstan is a researcher and lecturer in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying, with industry experience of working in the construction industry as a quantity surveyor. He is skilled in research and teaching in project cost control and management, sustainability, and construction project management.
Danstan holds a PhD in Construction Management with the title: Learning from Project-Related Failure in UK Project-Based Organisations from Northumbria University. His research interests include cost management on projects, sustainability, organisational learning within construction project-based organisations, lean construction, project-related failures, building information modelling, health and safety and people management in construction.
