Bedecked with more glitter, mirrors and neon than you can shake a stick at, Tonight Josephine is here with the newest and most insta-worthy drinks offering in all of Birmingham. Whether it's walk-in cocktails your after, or hours of fun with a movie themed bingo or burlesque brunch, there's plenty here to keep you entertained and enough glitter balls to have your eyes swimming.

After a hefty £45 million investment, the long awaited return of The Grand is finally here. The mid-century modern Madeline Bar offers a pretty impressive array of cocktails, or you can book for dinner at Isaac's.

Coming soon: Albert’s Schloss

So new to town that it hasn't quite arrived yet, Albert's Schloss - Manchester's most iconic beer hall - is expected to land in November 2021. Inspired by travels in Alpine Europe and providing some of the best European beer, you can expect a great night out featuring oompah bands and frivolity.

Medicine at The Mail Box

If you love this wholesome cafe on New Street - good news! Medicine have opened up in a new venue. You can expect the same delicious bakes, cronuts, sandwiches and coffee, just set in the swanky surroundings of The Mailbox.

Gupshup

For sandwiches like you've never tasted before head to Gupshup on Temple Row, which serves up Japanese style sandos in a host of flavour combos. From your traditional fish finger sarnie, to spiced pea patties and scotch eggs - they've got all the fillings covered. They're a little above your usual meal deal budget, but certainly pack a punch.

Explore Birmingham’s Canals by Canoe

You've heard it before, one of the city's most used claims to fame - 'Birmingham has more canals than Venice' - but did you know you can explore the city through our many miles of waterway? Ackers Trust offer guided canoe tours of Birmingham, starting in the Ackers Basin and heading up the Grand Union to the canals of Birmingham we know and love. And fear not, total beginners can have a go too as the session involves a full safety briefing and a quick canoeing 101 for anyone new to the water.

The Big Birmingham Bake

Down near the Custard Factory lies the opportunity for your very own Bake Off moment. The Big Birmingham Bake tent offers you and eleven others the chance to roll, drizzle, slice and whisk your way to a baking masterpiece. Grab your mates, don your apron, and BAKE!

Treetop Adventure Golf

Think Ghetto Golf but slightly more family friendly and closer to the centre of town - Treetop Golf Adventure has just opened up in The Bullring. Best bit? It's like golfing your way through the Crystal Maze and you can get two rounds for the price of one if you arrive before lunch time. There's an in-house cafe that serves great pizza's too.
