Welcome back to BCU for a new academic year. Here’s some useful information for you to get ready to start your studies again in September.
Information for students returning to their studies
To continue your studies, you must re-enrol each academic year. This includes if you are returning to only take assessments.
You must re-enrol by the deadline of Friday of week 4 of the start of teaching or you will be permanently withdrawn from your course.
Once you have received your results from the previous academic year, and the re-enrolment system has opened, you will receive an ‘Invitation to Re-enrol’ to your BCU email address. You can find your re-enrolment tasks in the mySRS portal. If you have problems accessing the mySRS Portal itself, please contact mysrs@bcu.ac.uk, remember to quote your student ID whenever you contact the University.
If you are taking resits, you will receive your email a little later, after you have completed your re-sits and received your results.
If you are required to pay tuition fees for this academic year, depending on your circumstances, you will need to pay a deposit or confirm who is paying your fees and how they are going to be paid. This needs to be done by the re-enrolment deadline stated above.
You will not be able to re-enrol if you have not paid the required deposit if you are paying fees yourself. If you are not paying fees yourself, then again, you will not be able to re-enrol if you have not provided the information that confirms the agreed arrangements to pay your tuition fees.
For further guidance and information about the payment options for your tuition fees, please visit the Finance guidance pages.
If you have not yet arranged for your student finance for this academic year and need assistance or guidance, please take a look at our Fees and Funding FAQ’s.
We have re-enrolment FAQ’s to assist you but you can also contact your Faculty Student Centre or Doctoral Research College if you need any further assistance or guidance.
