Teaching timetable
For this online course, we don't have a fixed timetable - the course is much more flexible than that.
The online learning content for your modules will be available from the beginning of each term, to allow you to work through the materials at your own pace. There will be virtual live sessions (typically every fortnight) for each module, and these are repeated so that you can access them in an earlier or later session, so that you can fit them around your commitments. The live sessions are also recorded, to accommodate those who are unable to join sessions at the allotted times. You will be able to find a schedule of these live sessions on each module's Moodle page.

Welcome Message
Welcome to Birmingham City University (BCU) and our online Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology course. You are now part of the academic community and we look forward to working in partnership with you to help you succeed. We hope that you will learn much from your time with us and have an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Our course is designed to be flexible, allowing you to work through learning materials at your own pace. While there is no strict 'timetable' for this convenient, web-based course, you will be provided with live supplementary sessions (online) for each of the modules.
To get started, please take the time to familiarise yourself with the course and modules you are enrolled on once you have access. Do have a look at the 'MSc Psychology' course Moodle page, as this is where you will find further details regarding term start and induction. You will see that induction includes some virtual live sessions to welcome you to the course and provide you with important information.
We would like to wish you every success on the course. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you as you progress!

Supporting your transition
During Welcome Week, you’ll get to meet our Student Ambassadors as soon as you walk onto campus. They’ll be there to support you with finding your Student Support Centre, collecting your ID card and guiding you in the right direction, and for a friendly hello!
First day on Campus
This is a fully online course, so you are not required to be on campus. You do still have access to on campus facilities should you wish to use these.
