There’s no need to panic if you can’t make it to our Open Day – we’re here to guide you on your alternatives so you still get to experience Birmingham City University and everything the city has to offer!
Check when the next one is
Did you know that we run more than one Open Day over the year? This means that if you can’t make it to this one, you can always come along to one later on. Click here to find out when the next ones are scheduled.
Have a look at our courses in detail
You can view all BCU courses here to find out what modules are on offer, how long the course runs for, where you would be based and the entry requirements. Once you’re sure which course you’re interested in, you can work out if you have any questions and if you’d like to organise to meet the lecturers for more in-depth information and a tour of the facilities.
You’re welcome to come and have a look around
You don’t have to limit your visits to our Open Days – feel free to come and have a look at our campuses and facilities yourself on an informal visit. If you plan in advance and get in touch with the relevant schools, you could even get a tour so you can see the facilities and get a more in-depth feel for the university and where you would be studying.
Applicant Taster Days
After you’ve applied, for certain courses you will be invited to Applicant Taster Days, which are like Open Days but more tailored to your course and a bit more in depth. You will have the chance to chat to current students, tutors, finance experts and explore the facilities for your school.
Heading to a UCAS fair? We’ll see you there! Visit our stand to find out more information from the team; we attend events across the country so make sure you check your local event listings.
Join a Facebook group
Why not join a Facebook group for your prospective course so you can chat with other students and ask any questions you might have? They’ll be able to give you honest answers about what it’s really like, and they’ll understand what you’re feeling and exactly what you need to know.
Be sure to follow us on social media too so you can keep up to date with everything that’s going on and what current students are up to! You can also ask us questions via our social media channels to find out more.
