Craig Kelly is a senior lecturer in criminology at Birmingham City University, where he has taught since 2018, covering topics such as Deviant Leisure, Research Methods and Homicide and Multiple Homicide. In September of 2023 Craig became the course lead for the MA Criminology degree pathway.

He has published research in the areas of violence, illicit markets, serial murder and media and crime.
