Josie is an experienced lecturer in counselling and psychotherapy. Her professional journey as a psychologist began with a ground-breaking project in a prison setting in Italy, where she worked to enhance the attachment bond between mothers and children. This experience ignited her passion for therapeutic interventions aimed at fostering healthy relationships and emotional well-being.

Josie undertook her specialization in psychotherapy in England, gaining experience with diverse communities within the third sector. She worked as a psychotherapist and clinical lead of a thriving counselling service. Josie's contributions also extended to educational settings, where she provided invaluable support to children and adolescents navigating various challenges.

In addition to her work in the third sector and educational settings, Josie has collaborated with different universities in the Midlands. Alongside her academic involvement, Josie currently runs a successful private practice and serves as a Clinical Supervisor.
