Dr Iris-Anda Ilies

Iris is a Lecturer in Psychology. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at Birmingham City University in 2017 and went on to study for a PhD in Psychology at BCU. Iris’ PhD focused on the potential associations between digital behaviours (social media use, online support) and postnatal mental health (postnatal depression).

Iris chose to be an academic due to her passion for psychology and enthusiasm for guiding students in their journey to self-discovery and acquisition of meaningful knowledge.
