Shey Fyffe

Shey has taught across a range of undergraduate Sociology and Black studies modules at BCU since 2016. 

Passionate about scholar-activism and public sociology, Shey is an advocate for the continuous development of collaborative working relationships between academics and community activists, collectives and organisations, and for university engagement with local communities.

Shey’s PhD research explores the challenges facing Black political community organisations in contemporary Britain.
