Sharda teaches Criminology and Policing. She has a keen interest in policing and the criminal justice system and is passionate about delivering ‘real world impact’.

Having previously taught Criminal Law at the University of Warwick, Sharda is particularly interested in the use of technology in policing and police-community relations.

Her PhD is an inter-disciplinary study focusing on the use of Body Worn Video in Stop and Search and explores the key areas of police discretion and behavior, procedural justice and public confidence and strengthening accountability.
