Birmingham City University is transforming STEM into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), an interdisciplinary way of thinking aimed at finding the most innovative solutions to today's challenges.
The School of Law is at the forefront of this initiative, holding one of the University’s prestigious STEAM Grants. Academics and students in the School of Law are currently partnering with academics and students in School of Nursing and Midwifery to produce a simulation exercise that showcases the implications of low-quality record-keeping by medical professionals.

Student Academic Partnerships (SAPs) and Student Academic Mentoring Projects (STAMPs)
The School of Law is engaged in a number of SAP and STAMP projects, which provide opportunities for students to engage in research collaboration and mentoring alongside academics and their peers. These projects aim to enhancing our academic community.
