Did you know?
We know that making decisions about where to study can be daunting, so here's some key facts about BSc(Hons) Adult Nursing.
You'll be employable
Our courses are regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and there’s always a demand in the profession, both here in the UK and abroad. For the last three years’ surveys (2012/2013, 2013/2014 and 2014/2015) at least 96 per cent of our Adult Nursing graduates were in employment or further study only six months after graduation.*

You'll be joining a course that students love
We're pleased to say our students are generally a happy bunch and we hope you’ll love your course as much as they have. As part of the 2016 National Student Survey our final-year Adult Nursing students agreed that our staff are enthusiastic about what they were teaching (96 per cent), our staff are good at explaining things (95 per cent) and the course is intellectually stimulating (94 per cent).
You can be recognised for your achievements
We are very proud of our nursing students, and love to see them shine. Since at least 2015, we’ve had students nominated and shortlisted in the ‘Student of the Year’ categories of the National Student Nursing Times Awards – which is fantastic! We’ve had winners in 2015 and 2016, including Victoria Abrahams who won an award in 2016 for Adult nursing. The success continues this year where we’ve picked up 10 nominations across several categories, including Naomi Fleming, Student of the Year – Adult Nursing. Watch this space to see how our students do at the awards ceremony in April, and just imagine – this could be you!
