Lecturer in Graphic Communication Martin Donnelly (pictured) has been voted in the Top 30 Design Lecturers in the world by The Design Kids (TDK) community, for his dedication to teaching.
TDK is a platform that connects and supports students and graduates of graphic design around the world. It is a global online resource with local communities around the world, aiming to educate, inspire and connect people to the design industry.
As well as recognising up-and-coming design talent, the TDK Awards also asked students to nominate the top tutors and lecturers that have helped them in their studies. Martin was voted in the top 30 across the globe, joining fellow tutors from Australia, the USA and beyond.
Martin said: “I was surprised and humbled to find myself included on this list among esteemed academics and established institutions. Having collaborated with Frankie Ratford, Creative Director and Founder of The Design Kids, in the past and having enthusiastically supported their initiative, it is incredibly rewarding to learn that the dedication and support I've provided in recent years hasn't gone unnoticed.
“This recognition is not only a significant morale boost for me but also a testament to the collective effort invested in our course to make a difference. I am hopeful that I will continue to nurture, guide, and inspire the next generations of design talent for many more years to come.”
