Reports indicate that there are approximately two million middle managers in the UK, in roles that are widely acknowledged as having the biggest impact on organisational performance.

“I’m delighted to launch ‘The Middle’, which aims to support middle managers in updating their strategic thinking and stimulate discussions in organisations facing increasingly complex demands, faster rates of change and new sources of risk,” said Stephen.

In the first episode, Simon highlights the challenges of professionalising functions to enable further growth, whilst maintaining the small company spirit that maximises discretionary effort.

Episodes of ‘The Middle’ last for 30 minutes and can be found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts.
