BBC Radio 4 quiz show The 3rd Degree makes its way to Birmingham City University next week.

Three members of staff will take on three students as they battle it out over seven rounds of general knowledge and specialist subject questions.

The programme is hosted by writer and comedian Steve Punt, and is recorded in front of a live audience at a different University each week.

Flying the flag for the staff team are Sonia Hendy-Isaac, Senior Lecturer in Curriculum Design for Employer Engagement and English Literature enthusiast; Kehinde Andrews, Senior Lecturer in Sociology; and Andrew Kulman, Professor of Graphic Art.

Joining the student team are Jessica Allen, BA (Hons) English; Danielle Balach-Warman, BA (Hons) Sociology; and William Marler, BA (Hons) Visual Communication.

The event takes place on Wednesday 9 March, Parkside lecture theatre. Doors open at 5.40pm and recording begins at 6pm. The event is free to attend and tickets can be booked via Eventbrite.
