Tune in to BBC Radio 4 on Monday 6 June (3pm) as staff and students battle it out on radio quiz show The 3rd Degree.

The programme which was recorded live at The Parkside Building earlier this year, sees three members of staff take on three students as they go head to head over seven rounds of general knowledge and specialist subject questions.

Flying the flag for the staff team are Kehinde Andrews, Senior Lecturer in Sociology; Andrew Kulman, Professor of Graphic Art; and Phil Thomson, Senior Lecturer Visual Communication, with a specialist interest in English.

Representing the student team are Danielle Balach-Warman, BA (Hons) Sociology; William Marler, BA (Hons) Visual Communication; and Jessica Allen, BA (Hons) English.

The programme is hosted by writer and comedian Steve Punt, and is recorded in front of a live audience at a different University each week.

The programme will be aired on Monday 6 June at 3pm, and repeated on Saturday 11 June at 11pm.
