Jewellery Masters Graduate Completes Commission

Lucy Harvey, who graduated from the MA in 2008, has just completed a commission for the National Glass Centre in collaboration with recycling company, Nulife Glass. The work explores the alchemical processes used by Nulife in separating lead and glass from cathode ray tubes found inside old TV's.

Her new pieces, which explore bringing the two materials back together, will be on show at NGC as part of a group show titled Re-Make/Re-Model from 13th October to 27 January 2011.

Lucy will also be showcasing hew artefacts and jewellery collection at this year's Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair in Manchester. Find her on stand 55!
