The University will be exhibiting at the Made in the Midlands show on Thursday 20 June, to promote business support services, academic expertise and graduate talent to regional manufacturing and engineering firms.
The Knowledge Transfer Business Engagement Team will be representing the University during the event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, which is expected to attract over 2,500 industry leaders and is the UK’s largest exhibition of its kind.
A business development collaboration with the University – with one of our graduates working for the company on a specific project with access to our academic expertise – can be the perfect way to grow a business or solve a pressing problem, and the University has many years’ experience of operating such projects.

Senior Knowledge Transfer and Business Engagement Manager Natalie Lewis said: “We’ve had a strong relationship with Made in the Midlands for around 10 years. It’s important for us to be at an event like the Expo as it’s an opportunity to engage directly with employers from across the region.
“These are businesses that we can collaborate with to offer opportunities to students for placements and internships, and to engage graduates and academics in Knowledge Transfer Partnerships which have mutual benefits for both the University and for the business themselves.”
