In partnership with Birmingham City University and Millennium Point, The Business Information Portal (BIP) is this week hosting the West Midlands Cloud, Data and Smart Mobility Expo 2013, as part of West Midlands Week and European SME Week.

The BIP is an independent online business organisation that champions entrepreneurism, graduate employability and connects SME’s in the West Midlands. The BIP promotes, connects and empowers businesses by showcasing West Midlands talent and connecting employers with high calibre graduates, providing business support services and resources.

The two-day conference at Birmingham City University’s City Centre Campus on 28 and 29 November will provide opportunities for students and young entrepreneurs to gain grant-funding for business start-ups as well as gaining first-hand knowledge of implementing the latest cloud and agile technology used by large organisations in the digital marketplace.

Representatives from global organisations will be present at the event, including Google, Jaguar and Deloitte, who’ll be delivering talks on employability and highlighting key skills that employers are seeking from graduates in the technology sector.
