Explore From Around Here, a vibrant showcase of creativity inspired by the culture, communities and character of Birmingham’s Southside.
Featuring original work by students from Birmingham City University’s Department of Fashion and Jewellery, the exhibition brings together fashion, jewellery, textiles, illustration, photography, digital media and wallpaper.
Inspired by the people, places, stories and heritage of Southside, the exhibition offers fresh creative perspectives on an area renowned for its diversity, energy and cultural spirit.
The project brings together the National Trust Birmingham Back to Backs and BCU, with more than 150 students contributing work and responding to the area’s rich social history and evolving identity.
