Night School opens the doors of the Birmingham School of Art, Margaret Street to the public on the last Tuesday of the month. The final Night School of this academic year is on Tuesday 24th March. Students present exhibitions, performances, workshops, experimental practice, open studios and sell work through art markets.

Night School is embedded into the curriculum. All our School of Art and Design students are encouraged to participate. Night School is open to all students across the School of Arts to join in and often has a much wider reach. It offers an opportunity for students to test new work, trial ideas, and gain experience with a wider public audience. Night School is an organic platform for making communities and making what we do public.

It is a free event, open to all, including industry guests, alumni, parents, and public audiences. It is a great experience, to see the Birmingham School of Art buzzing with activity and come alive. You never know what and who you are going to see!
