Jason Georgiou

Jason's career has always been within the Justice System. Following completion of the Legal Practice Course at Birmingham City University, Jason went to work for the Legal Aid Agency managing a team assessing civil legal aid applications. In 1998 Jason changed direction and began a career with the Probation Service, as a Probation Officer, preparing Court reports and supervising ex-prisoners resettlement into the community. Jason stayed with the Probation service for three years when he decided to return to legal practice and went on to manage the Criminal Law department of a local firm of solicitors.

In 2006 Jason set up his own firm of solicitors with two colleagues specialising in all aspects of criminal defence work. He regularly conducted trials and other hearings in the Magistrates' Court and has case managed serious cases in the Crown Court including homicide cases and multi-million pound drugs cases. Jason remains a qualified duty solicitor, with over fifteen years experience in practice.
