Course Leader and Lecturer
Michela Ferraro-Cuda has been awarded three times in a row for Jewellery Design for Direct Precious Metal 3D Printing by The Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council (Silver award in 2021; Bronze award in 2010 and 2020).
A graduate of the European Institute for Design in Milan (IED) with over 30 years’ experience in the jewellery sector, she's worked both as a jewellery designer and in management roles in luxury companies, with experiences spanning across Italy, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Bahrain and Indonesia.
She has an MBA from University of Winchester, with a special attention to innovation, sustainability and responsibility in jewellery sector.
As a contributor to L’Orafo Italiano, she writes articles on ethical, responsible and sustainable aspects in the Luxury Jewellery Industry, and has recently written about the status of the art of Precious Metal Additive Manufacturing in the Jewellery industry for Metal AM.
