Michela Ferraro is a jewellery expert and educator with over 30 years of passion and international experience in the industry. She specialises in luxury, innovation, sustainability, and precious additive manufacturing (metal AM) for the jewellery industry, which she believes are the key drivers for ethical, responsible, and sustainable practices.

She is a graduate in Jewellery Design of the European Institute for Design in Milan (IED) and has a MBA from the University of Winchester, where she focused on ethical, responsible, and sustainable innovation in the precious jewellery industry. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Associate Chartered Manager (ACMI), and a Carbon Literacy certified by the United Nations.

She has won multiple awards from the Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council for her jewellery designs using direct precious metal 3D printing, which she uses to create unique and bespoke pieces that enhance the synergy between technology and brand identity.

Michela has also contributed to industry magazines, and delivered sustainability training in schools and colleges, where she also shares her knowledge and insights on the latest trends and developments in the jewellery and luxury sectors.

Her mission is to help the jewellery and luxury industries adopt more innovative ethical, responsible, and sustainable practices, and to advise consumers on how to make informed and conscious choices when buying jewellery and luxury.

Michela is also passionate about supporting and mentoring emerging talent and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in the jewellery, luxury and local communities.
