Our International Scholarships

We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship opportunities for international students to help support you through your studies

International Students - Scholarships

Before we get started

It’s important to note that scholarships are only available to self-funding students studying on a full time course for at least one academic year, students will only receive one scholarship (whichever is greater in value) and there are also a number of courses which are exempt*.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Every year we provide merit-based scholarships recognising the talents of our international students, which will be discounted against the cost of your tuition fees.

All international students enrolling on a postgraduate course in September 2021 and January 2022 will be eligible for a partial scholarship of up to £2,000 discounted from your tuition fees. This is awarded based on your academic background, and your grade will need to be the equivalent to a UK degree:

  • £2,000 if a 1st class degree holder
  • £1,500 if a Second Class (Upper Division) or 2:1 degree holder
  • £1,000 if a Second Class (Lower Division) or 2:2 degree holder
  •    £500 if a 3rd class degree holder

The following courses are exempted from this scholarship:

  • ACCA
  • MSc Accounting & Finance (Top-Up)
  • Conservatoire courses (Music and Theatre)
  • PGCE and PCET
  • Masters in Teaching and Learning/Educational Leadership (MTL/MEL)
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in Health

Please note that scholarships are only available to self-funding students and those studying full-time for at least one academic year.

Postgraduate prompt payment bursary

As with our undergraduate degrees, if you pay the tuition fees for your postgraduate course in full before you’re enrolled with us (either before you travel to the UK or during enrolment), you’ll be entitled to a £300 discount. Pay promptly and save yourself some money! This discount is limited to September 2021 and January 2022 intakes and applies to the amount you owe after deducting any scholarships from your tuition fee.

Undergraduate scholarships

Academic achievement recognition (Non-EU students only)

Have you been working hard at your studies? Every year we provide a number of scholarships recognising the talents of our international students. We want to reward dedication and achievement, so if you have a strong academic background, you could be entitled to this bursary of up to £2,000.

You don’t need to apply, we review the academic background of each applicant and will offer you the scholarship alongside your course offer if you are eligible.

Prompt payment bursary for super-fast fee payment

There are perks to paying early! If you pay your tuition fees in full before you’re enrolled with us (either before you travel to the UK or during enrolment), you’ll be entitled to a £300 prompt payment discount.
