Our International Scholarships

We offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship opportunities for international students to help support you through your studies

International Students - Scholarships

Before we get started

It’s important to note that scholarships are only available to self-funding students studying on a full time course for at least one academic year, students will only receive one scholarship (whichever is greater in value) and there are also a number of courses which are exempt*.

Undergraduate scholarships

Academic achievement recognition (Non-EU students only)

Have you been working hard at your studies? Every year we provide a number of scholarships recognising the talents of our international students. We want to reward dedication and achievement, so if you have a strong academic background, you could be entitled to this bursary of up to £2,000.

You don’t need to apply, we review the academic background of each applicant and will offer you the scholarship alongside your course offer if you are eligible.

Prompt payment bursary for super-fast fee payment

There are perks to paying early! If you pay your tuition fees in full before you’re enrolled with us (either before you travel to the UK or during enrolment), you’ll be entitled to a £300 prompt payment discount.

The £300 discount applies to the total of money owed after any scholarships or bursaries have been deducted from your tuition fee. Make your payment early and save yourself £300.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Academic achievement recognition (Non-EU students only)

If you’ve excelled in your undergraduate studies, you could be entitled to up to £2,000 towards the cost of your postgraduate tuition fees with us. This is based on your academic background and your overall undergraduate grade, equivalent to a UK degree. You could get:

• £2,000 if you are a 1st degree holder

• £1,500 if you are a 2:1 degree holder

• £1,000 if you are a 2:2 degree holder

• £500 if you are a 3rd degree holder

All non-EU international students are eligible for the scholarship, we will let you know the amount you are entitled to alongside your course offer.

It pays to stay (UK, EU and Non-EU students)

Already studying an undergraduate degree with us and thinking about postgraduate study? Our Achievement Scholarship – worth up to £3,000 – helps current undergraduate students pursue postgraduate study by assisting with course fees and living costs. You could get:

  •        £3,000 if you are a 1st degree holder
  •        £2,000 if you are a 2:1 or 2:2 degree holder

BCU undergraduate students can also take advantage of our Fast Track postgraduate application process, apply in your final year of study and let us help you fulfil your postgraduate potential.
