We have international students from Latin America studying at Birmingham City University in some of our most popular programmes, including Business, Art and Design, and Jewellery.
Birmingham is a popular study destination for students from Latin America, offering many home comforts, including restaurants, bars, and various sports. The city features its international airport, just a 10-minute train journey from our City Centre Campus. Modern, safe, and ideally located on-campus accommodation is available to all international students on a first-come, first-served basis. Our International Regional Manager understands the study needs of Latin American students and would be pleased to answer any questions you may have about studying at our institution.

Undergraduate
We are happy to consider the Título de Técnico Superior Universitario with minimum overall score of 61% and above PLUS Título de Bachiller with minimum of 10 in each subject.
Postgraduate
We are happy to consider the Licenciatura with minimum score of 61% overall score.
Some postgraduate courses require a subject specific undergraduate degree to qualify for entry for example, Law, Computing, Social Sciences, Engineering, etc. Please check the website for this information.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate Art and Design courses require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, others require a proposal of studies while some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please the relevant course page for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)
All undergraduate courses in the CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However for the Engineering suite and BEng Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level minimum Grade C or the equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require Mathematics minimum of Grade C at O Level or the equivalent
English language requirements
Undergraduate
BCU is offering a scholarship of £5,000 to self-funding international undergraduate students joining BCU on a full-time degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two.

Postgraduate
BCU is offering a scholarship of £3,000 to self-funding international postgraduate students joining BCU on a full-time postgraduate taught Master’s degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.
