We have many students from Latin America studying at Birmingham City University on some of our most popular programmes, including Business, Health, Engineering, Art and Design, and Jewellery.

Birmingham is a popular study destination for students from Latin America, and our city has many of your home comforts, including restaurants, bars and sports widely available. Birmingham has its own international airport, which is located a 10-minute train journey from our City Centre Campus. Modern, safe and perfectly located on-campus accommodation is available to all international students on a first-come, first-served basis.

It's a particularly exciting time to become a student at Birmingham City University. We've invested over £500 million in our estate, including a major expansion of our City Centre Campus at Eastside, providing students with an enviable range of facilities.

Our research work continues to attract international attention, 93% of our research was recognised internationally for originality, significance and rigour, of which 19% was judged world-leading (REF 2021).

Undergraduate

Certificado de Educacion Secundaria Comun Completa with minimum of 14 for Maths and Science where required PLUS Titulo de Professional Tecnico / Titulo de Tecnico with an overall score of 14.
Additionally all applicants must hold a sufficient, valid English Language qualification or an exam result accepted by the University. For a full list of accepted English Language qualifications and further information, please visit here.  

Some Undergraduate courses require for applicants to have studied specific subjects. For Example, Maths, Science or Computing related subjects. Please check the course-specific website for the course's entry requirements. 

Postgraduate 

Titulo de Licenciado/ Titulo Professional title awarded after 4 or more years of study with grade 14 and no subject below 11. Additionally all applicants must hold a sufficient, valid English Language qualification or an exam result accepted by the University. Some postgraduate courses require a subject specific undergraduate degree to qualify for entry. For Example, Law, Computing, Social Sciences, Engineering, etc. Please check out the Course-specific website for the course's entry requirements. 


 

Undergraduate

BCU is offering a scholarship of £5,000 to self-funding international undergraduate students joining BCU on a full-time degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two.

BCU is offering a scholarship of £3,000 to self-funding international postgraduate students joining BCU on a full-time postgraduate taught Master’s degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.
