Undergraduate
We are happy to consider the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) level/Cambridge Overseas School Certificate (COSC) with a grade of 1-6, plus the Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC)/Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with the relevant tariff points.
Postgraduate
We are happy to consider applicants with a Bachelor's Degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 - 3.9, or equivalent.
Some postgraduate courses require a subject-specific undergraduate degree for entry, such as Law, Computing, Social Sciences, and Engineering. Please check the website for this information.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate courses in the art and design Schools require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, while others require a proposal of studies, and some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please check the faculty website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)
All undergraduate programmes in the CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However, for the Engineering suite and BEng in Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level, with a minimum Grade C or equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require a minimum grade of C in Mathematics at O Level or its equivalent..
English language requirements
We accept the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) in the subject of English language.

Undergraduate
BCU is offering a scholarship of £5,000 to self-funding international undergraduate students joining BCU on a full-time degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two.

BCU is offering a scholarship of £3,000 to self-funding international postgraduate students joining BCU on a full-time postgraduate taught Master’s degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.
