Undergraduate courses
We are happy to consider the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Grades A-C, Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE), or Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (COHSC) with the equivalent UCAS tariff points, or a Diploma with a minimum Grade C.
Postgraduate courses
We are happy to consider the Bachelor's Degree 2nd Class Honours Lower.
Special requirements
Art and Design
All undergraduate Art and Design courses require a good portfolio of artwork. Some postgraduate courses also require a portfolio, while others require a proposal of studies, and some courses require both a portfolio and a proposal of studies. Please check the faculty website for specific requirements.
Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE)
All undergraduate courses in the CEBE faculty require Mathematics at O Level. However, for the Engineering suite and BEng in Telecommunication and Networks, Mathematics is required at AS Level, with a minimum Grade C or equivalent.
Business School
All Business School undergraduate Year 1 courses require a minimum grade of C at O Level or its equivalent.
English language requirements
We accept the Tanzania Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) - English Language.

Undergraduate
BCU is offering a scholarship of £5,000 to self-funding international undergraduate students joining BCU on a full-time degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount of £3,000 in year one and £2,000 in year two.

BCU is offering a scholarship of £3,000 to self-funding international postgraduate students joining BCU on a full-time postgraduate taught Master’s degree. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee discount.
