We have many students from Kuwait studying at Birmingham City University on some of our most popular programmes including BEng/MEng Engineering, BA (Hons) Business Management and MSc Construction Project Management.
Birmingham is a popular study destination for students from the Middle East region and has many of your home comforts including mosques, halal supermarkets and restaurants and a very active Islamic Society in our Students Union.
Birmingham has its very own international airport which is located a 10 minute train journey from our City Centre Campus. Modern, safe and perfectly located on-campus accommodation is available to all international students on a first-come, first-served basis.
It's a particularly exciting time to become a student at Birmingham City University. We've invested over £500 million in our estate, including a major expansion of our City Centre Campus at Eastside, providing students with an enviable range of facilities. We've invested heavily in innovative technology to give our students the best possible preparation for their chosen careers. Facilities include a mock law court, a virtual radiography suite, broadcast studios, fashion workshops and a mock operating theatre.
Our research work continues to attract international attention, 93% of our research was recognised internationally for originality, significance and rigour, of which 19% was judged world-leading (REF 2021).
