Judith Dyson joined Birmingham City University in October 2020 as a Reader in Healthcare Research and Implementation Science. She is a registered general and mental health nurse and a chartered psychologist and has worked in many clinical and management roles in the NHS.
Her area of research interest and expertise is Implementation Science, translating research findings into clinical practice. In particular, Judith is interested in both the clinical behaviours of our health care practitioners and the health behaviours of our service users and how through understanding and supporting these we might improve health.
Judith has maintained her links with clinical practice where she supports and coaches practitioners in improving care.
