Lorraine qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist from De Montfort University in 2002. She has worked in various roles within the NHS and independent practice. Most recently she worked within a Key Stage 1 and 2 Speech and Language Centre in Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire with children with Developmental Language Disorder and Speech Sound Disorder. She has also recently worked as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for an independent online telehealth company.
Lorraine is the current chair of the Midlands Speech Sound Disorder Clinical Excellence Network and RCSLT link committee member for the Clinical Academic.
