Gemma previously worked as a Radiographer and a Sonographer at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS trust for 15 years before joining the BCU lecturing team.
Gemma teaches on both the BSc Medical Ultrasound and MSc Medical Ultrasound courses, specialising in teaching of Obstetric, Gynaecological and Abdominal Ultrasound. Gemma is keen to provide support and encouragement to students to enable them to transfer knowledge from theory to practice.
