Donna Brookes

Donna started her career as a nurse in 2009 working in a nursing home looking after patients living with dementia and multiple long-term conditions.

In 2015, Donna secured a job in General Practice and started her career as a general practice nurse, becoming a non-medical prescriber and a professional nurse advocate.

Donna started working with BCU in 2018 as a Visiting Lecturer for the Fundamentals of General Practice courses. In 2020 she joined BCU as a Lecturer and has since become a Senior Lecturer and course lead on the Fundamentals of General Practice. She is currently studying for her Master's degree in Professional Practice.
