For 2018/ 2019 we will be running a special programme: 'SH:IFT' (Students Happening Influencing Fashion and Textiles). Looking to the future of our Industry we will be hosting a Student Led Conference on 10 April 2019 with numerous exciting lectures in the lead up.
SH:IFT provides a platform for new ideas and research to tackle some of the negative impacts of the fashion and textiles industry and source a plan for ethics and sustainability in this global industry. The conference focuses on four key areas; Activate, Rethink, Invent and Cherish.
Challenging students to think about the future of fashion and textiles, for their own practice, the school and the future of the industry.
