Enhancing your Employability

At Birmingham City University, our dedicated Careers Consultants support you in achieving your career aspirations – and you can continue to benefit from their help and advice for up to five years after finishing your course.

The Careers and Job Prospects Service helps students and graduates to develop employability and career management skills. Services include providing access to jobs and work experience opportunities, employer mentoring and recruitment events.

Many of our graduates go on to achieve success in a wide range of careers, working at the likes of Universal Music, EMI Music, Dolby UK, Blitz Games, Audient, Wavelength Stage Co Event Management, West Yorkshire Playhouse Theatre, BigButton Gas Street Works, Talkback Thames, BBC Big Screen, BBC Cardiff, An Ideal World – California.
