Research aims

Murray Uniforms Ltd is a long-standing company with over 100 years’ experience designing, developing, and manufacturing workwear to the highest standards for some of the best known and most respected brands in the UK.

Murray is well known for its innovation in the work wear field, with novel patents and developments applied to all the stages involved in the uniform design and manufacturing process, from the design of novel fabric materials to unique customer processes.

This KTP partnership will create a suite of novel immersive technologies tools to support the expansion of Murray’s design capabilities’ range, leading to new disruptive uniform design creation and visualisation tools.

This project is funded by Innovate UK.

Intended outcomes

The aim of this project is to develop a suite of immersive technologies to be embedded into the uniform design process at Murray, enabling clients to take part in the design process and disrupting the workwear industry.
