Dr Bidushi Barua

Dr. Bidushi Barua is a researcher in the field of wireless communications and her areas of interest include 5G micro-operator networks, cooperative communications in wireless networks, game-theoretical and contract-theoretical algorithms, and contract design between operators, smart grid and applied machine learning applications. She completed her Masters in Telecommunications from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. She acquired her doctoral degree from the University of Oulu, Finland, and then continued to pursue her post-doctoral research there for two years.  She has also contributed as an author and reviewer to several IEEE journals and conferences papers.

Before pursuing higher education, she worked as a Network Engineer for two mobile operators in her home country. Currently, she is working as a Research Fellow at Birmingham City University, UK for the 5G Connected Forest Project
