Dr Ambreen Hussain

Research Fellow in Smart Sensing and Processing

Ambreen received her PhD degree funded by the European FP7 WatERP project from Staffordshire University in 2020. Her research was focused on sustainable semantic interoperability and semantic validation of sensor data. During her Masters by Research degree from Cranfield University, UK, in 2013, she worked on a project by Jaguar Land Rover for test automation. She gained software and database development using the latest technologies through industrial work experience. She has authored and reviewed many IEEE conference papers.

Currently, Ambreen is working as a Research Fellow in Smart Sensing and Processing at Birmingham City University. Her research interests include data processing using deep learning methods, IoT-enabled efficient management systems, cloud computing, edge computing, knowledge engineering and semantic validation of IoT data.
