Ian is the Research Officer for the Faculty. He provides support to the Associate Dean (Research) and to research staff and research activities across the Faculty.
He oversees the co-ordination and management of the processes regarding the support of PhD students. He is heavily involved in the creation of a greater research 'culture' in the Faculty and in the sourcing of potential funding for future research work in the Faculty.
Ian is interested in research into higher education, particularly the experiences of, and support available to, international students.
