Mark has recently joined BCU after working at other local universities.
Prior to moving into education Mark had spent a number of years at Ernst & Young LLP, where he became a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) working with a range of blue-chip clients and a focus on corporate tax. He then moved into education where he taught in further education (FE), before moving into higher education (HE) where he has worked since 2015.
Mark brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills from industry and academia. In joining BCU Mark hopes to help students unlock their potential and become successful both personally and professionally. His teaching is focused on taxation, financial accounting as well as corporate governance.
He is currently studying for a PhD themed around the audit function as a part of the corporate governance environment.
