About nine percent of students in university run a business alongside their studies, and two per cent of UK graduates decide to become their own boss directly after graduation.

Whether you already have a clear idea and are taking practical steps towards your dream, or you are just starting to consider self-employment, there are a range of support services available at BCU.

All you need is a viable idea and the commitment to make it succeed. BSEEN offers a five day intensive boot-camp enabling you to develop your business skills including workshops, on-going support, tailored mentoring to suit your business needs, free co-working space in STEAMhouse Incubator in Millennium Point, a business grant of £500 to kick start your business and networking opportunities.
