Dr Richard E. Oddy is the Deputy Head of Business, Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurship. He has developed and launched a number of new courses in these specific fields, and has over a decade of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

His established record of teaching and learning, and management/leadership in teaching provision, led to him becoming a Senior Fellow of the HEA (the Higher Education Academy). Richard has undertaken research and consultancy projects for a number of organisations including LOCOG (the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games), England Golf, British Equestrian Federation, Barnardo’s and Macmillan Cancer Support. He is Co-Founder and Chair of ACES (Association for Continuing Education in Esports). Richard has a PhD in Marketing from the University of Birmingham, having previously gained an MBA from Coventry University.
