John is an Associate Professor specialising in the field of Taxation. He is the College Academic Lead (Accreditations) for the College of Accounting Finance and Economics.
Before moving into Higher Education (HE) in 2007, John spent 25 years as an accountant in practice. He was a senior manager, registered auditor 'Responsible Individual' (RI) and also had a number of years experience in tax compliance at a Top 20 firm.
His experience in HE is teaching and delivering on the ACCA papers Taxation (TX) and Advanced Taxation (ATX).He has acted as course and module lead on Undergraduate (UG) taxation modules and course lead on Post Graduate (PG) degree courses.
